Major Search in Gosport for Missing Person
A major search was sparked after reports of a missing person was reported Gosport in the early hours of this morning.(Thursday, August 2nd) Officers from Hampshire Constabulary, the Hillhead Coastguard search and rescue team a helicopter asset from the National air support from Bournemouth and a lifeboat from the Gosport and Fareham Inshore rescue were all scrambled just after midnight. Emergency workers carried out ashore and sealine search before information was received to advised the safe return of the missing person to their home address by the family.
