A 55-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Anita Rose, 57, following a three-month-long police investigation into her death in Brantham, Suffolk.
When emergency services discovered Ms Rose, she was only wearing a bra on her top half, along with leggings and trainers. Her jacket was missing. CCTV footage from the morning shows Ms Rose walking her usual route before she was attacked.

Ms Rose was transported to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge in critical condition, having sustained significant head and brain injuries. Despite medical efforts, she died four days later on Sunday, July 28.
Suffolk Constabulary has confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing, and they are appealing for anyone with information about Ms Rose’s final movements to come forward.
