The Metropolitan Police have concluded that the artificial audio clips circulating online, which feature the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan allegedly dismissing Remembrance Day commemorations, do not constitute a criminal offence. This announcement comes after an evaluation of the clips, which were believed to be created using artificial intelligence.

One of the clips, which gained attention on TikTok, features a simulated voice of Sadiq Khan saying disparaging remarks about Remembrance weekend. Another clip presents the mayor questioning the scheduling of Armistice Day commemorations in relation to a Palestinian march in London.
