The discovery of a man’s body near Arrowe Brook Lane in Irby this afternoon has been confirmed to be that of the missing 40-year-old, Colin Edwards.
Officers responded to a report around 1pm on Monday, January 29, that the body of a man had been found in the area of Arrowe Brook Lane. Tragically, upon arrival, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The man has been formally identified as Colin Edwards, who was reported missing on Thursday, January 11.
The authorities have ruled out any suspicion surrounding his death, and the case has been referred to the coroner’s office for further proceedings. As investigations continue, anyone with information that could assist is urged to DM @MerPolCC, quoting log 408 of Monday, January 29.
