Police have uncovered a large-scale cannabis farm in a Maidstone warehouse, seizing nearly 1,000 cannabis plants following reports of a gas leak.

The discovery was made on Wednesday, 26 February 2025, at around 8:20 pm, when gas engineers carrying out repairs near St Peter’s Street stumbled upon the suspected illegal operation.

Police Raid & Seizure

Kent Police patrol officers were dispatched to the location and found four industrial-sized tents filled with cannabis plants inside the warehouse. A sophisticated heating and ventilation system was also in place, suggesting an organised and well-maintained cultivation setup.
