A drug dealer’s brazen activities in a playground in Islington were abruptly halted when he was chased down and apprehended by a vigilant police officer. Willano Moore, 27, of Hornsey Street, Holloway, now faces the likelihood of a prison sentence after pleading guilty to multiple drug-related offences.

The incident unfolded on August 31, 2020, when an officer on patrol spotted Moore selling drugs in Paradise Park, Islington. Upon being confronted by the officer, Moore fled the scene, initiating a chase that spanned approximately 200 meters. Despite his attempts to evade capture, Moore was contained within the playground of a nearby primary school.
