Police appeal for missing 12 year old from Woolwich

Police in Greenwich are appealing for the public’s help to find a missing 12-year-old boy from Woolwich, SE18. Alvaro Ferreras Gonzalez was last seen at about 1430hrs on Saturday, 28 April getting on the 422 bus going towards Greenwich North. He is described as a light skinned black boy, of large build, 5ft 2ins tall with short dark hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a navy blue water proof jacket, grey t-shirt, navy blue tracksuit bottoms, nike air red/white trainers (air Jordan style) Alvaro has severe autism and speaks little English. His first language is Spanish. Alvaro struggles to communicate. He has a fascination with buses/trains/tubes and has been known to go all over London. Officers are increasingly concerned for Alvaro’s wellbeing and would urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to call police on 101 quoting reference 18MIS016877 or Missing People on 116000.
