Officers are appealing for the public’s help in locating a group of youngsters believed to be responsible for the attack on Thursday 13 July just after 7pm.
A 38-year-old man was sitting on a bench with his girlfriend in Castle Gate, Newark, near the Swan and Salmon pub when he was approached by a group of teenagers.
