Police investigate attempted abduction in Portsmouth
Officers from Hampshire Police have now confirmed that they are investigating a suspicious incident involving a man near the scout hut in The Ridings in Hilsea, Portsmouth. It happened around 2.50pm on Saturday (March 5). It is alleged that the man approached an 11-year-old girl, who had jumped a fence, then stumbled and fell. The man didn’t say anything to the girl. The girl kicked out at the man and he ran off. He was last seen running off across the grounds of Gatcombe Park Infant School. The man is described as wearing a green jacket with a hood Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen this man.
