Detectives from Kent Police investigating a suspected theft incident in Folkestone have released CCTV images of two women whom they believe may have information relevant to their inquiries.
The investigation was prompted by a call received by Kent Police on the evening of Sunday, January 28, 2024. The caller reported that his wallet had gone missing, with the last known location being a fast food restaurant on Sandgate Road at approximately 3pm on the same day.
Upon discovering the disappearance of his wallet, the man noticed suspicious transactions on his bank cards, including purchases made later that evening at a grocery store in the town centre.
Officers from Folkestone’s Victim Based Crime Team are actively investigating the matter and have released CCTV images of two women who they believe could assist in their inquiries.
Individuals who recognize the women in the images or have any information pertaining to the incident are urged to come forward and contact the police immediately. They can do so by calling 01843 222289 and quoting reference number 46/15795/24.
