Search Continues for Missing Hook Woman Margaret Lee

Police and friends have issued new pictures as the search continues for missing Hook woman Margaret Lee. Margaret, 75, was last seen in Nursery Close, Hook, at around 5.30pm last night (Monday, June 27), and did not return home. Police are growing increasingly concerned for Margaret’s welfare. Margaret has dementia and while she likes to go for a walk, she normally returns home within 20 minutes. She is described as: • White • 5ft 5ins tall • Having white hair in a bob • Wearing beige-coloured trousers and a pale blue shirt • Carrying a handbag Specialist teams were involved in searching Hook and the surrounding area last night and will continue to do so today. Anita Mathur said :”Our lovely neighbour is still missing after an overnight search. Those in the Hook area please continue to check your gardens and outbuildings”. Inspector Richard Lane said: “We would like to thank all those people who have shared our appeal so far. “Unfortunately Margaret is still missing and we are concerned that she has been out on her own for a significant period of time. We would urge residents in the Hook area to be vigilant and if you see a woman matching Margaret’s description, call 101 as soon as you can.” Anyone who sees Margaret is asked to call 101, quoting 44160239731.
