An aggravated robbery on Cowper Avenue, East Ham has prompted a police investigation after a 36-year-old man was stabbed on Saturday, 5 April.

Incident Details

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the incident occurred around 2.20pm. Officers were called to the scene following reports of a violent robbery. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from a stab wound.

The London Ambulance Service attended to the injured man at the scene before transporting him to the hospital. Authorities have since stated that his injuries are not considered life-threatening or life-changing.

Ongoing Investigation

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident at this time, and police investigations are ongoing. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said:
“We are investigating an aggravated robbery which took place in Cowper Avenue, East Ham. A 36-year-old man was treated at the scene for a stab wound and was later taken to hospital. His injuries have been deemed non-life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made at this stage. Enquiries are ongoing.”

Appeal for Information

Detectives are appealing for witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area to come forward. Local residents and businesses are encouraged to check any surveillance equipment for potential evidence.
