Detectives are appealing for information to identify a man following an unprovoked attack on a woman in england/east-%%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%%dulwich/”>East Dulwich.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:45 PM on Monday, 25 August, on %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%% %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%%, SE22. Officers arrived at the scene to find a woman in her 20s with facial injuries. She received treatment from paramedics before being taken to hospital, where it was confirmed that she had suffered a broken jaw.

The victim is currently receiving support from the police.

Details of the Attack

According to investigators, the suspect approached the victim while she was alone, verbally abusing her before striking her in the face. The attacker is described as a Black man, aged between 30 and 40, with balding hair and wearing dark clothing at the time of the incident.

Detective Constable %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_3%% Kerr, who is leading the investigation, stated: "We are working hard to find the person we believe is responsible for this senseless and unprovoked attack. While we continue our enquiries, we hope/”>hope-england/”>hope our increased neighbourhood police presence will offer some reassurance to %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_4%% and girls throughout the local area."

Detectives urge anyone who witnessed the incident, particularly around the junction of Lordship Lane and %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_5%% Grove at 4:45 PM on 25 August, to come forward. They emphasised that even the smallest piece of information could prove crucial to the investigation.
