Nine people have been injured following a road traffic collision on the A404 Marlow Hill near Wycombe High School in High Wycombe. The incident occurred at approximately 1:38 pm today, and involved a vehicle colliding with seven pedestrians – all teenage girls – as well as two other vehicles.
Injuries and Emergency Response
Six of the teenage girls sustained minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment. One girl and the drivers of the two vehicles involved were taken to hospital for precautionary treatment due to minor injuries. Thankfully, there have been no reports of serious injuries.
The A404 Marlow Hill has since reopened after being closed for several hours to facilitate emergency response and investigation.
Police and School Statements
Thames Valley Police have confirmed that the incident is not terror-related. They are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 1029 of today’s date (3 April).
