A Shoebury mum has thanked Essex Police for their “amazing support, understanding and dedication” after a man was locked up for nearly 14 years Overover horrific child sexual offences.

“We’ve been heard and have got justice thanks to the incredible work of Essex Police,” the brave mum said. She praised officers for being “so understanding and easy to talk to” throughout the investigation.
“He pleaded guilty to the horrendous abuse and now we can Startstart rebuilding our lives,” she added. The family is working through trauma but finding joy in simple things again – like picking favourite colours and TV shows.
Detective Perrie vowed Essex Police will “not tolerate those who seek to harm children” and remain committed to protecting the vulnerable.
