Two 17-year-old boys have been charged following a serious assault in Sittingbourne last week, in which a 16-year-old boy sustained a stab wound.

Kent Police were called to an address in Murston shortly before 9 p.m. on Thursday, 16 January, after reports of an assault. The victim, a 16-year-old boy, was found with injuries consistent with a stab wound.

Officers, along with South East Coast Ambulance Service, attended the scene, and the boy was taken to a local hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening, and he was later discharged to continue his recovery.
