On Friday night, Shoreham RNLI lifeboats sprang into action following reports of a missing person. The inshore lifeboat scoured the River Adur in Shoreham, while the all-weather lifeboat conducted a thorough shoreline search of the Widewater area in Lancing, alongside the Shoreham coastguard team.

Thankfully, the search was called off after the missing person was located by the inshore lifeboat crew and safely handed over to Sussex Police for further assistance.
