In a heart-wrenching discovery, a baby girl was found abandoned in a shopping bag in Newham, East London, on January 18 this year. The child, affectionately named Baby Elsa by hospital staff, was rescued by a vigilant dog walker in sub-zero temperatures.

What makes this story even more sad is that DNA testing has revealed Baby Elsa has two siblings: Baby Harry and Baby Roman. Both were found abandoned in similar circumstances in the same area of the capital in 2017 and 2019, respectively.
