Emergency Services Respond After Person Struck by Train at Streatham Railway Station

  Emergency services have rushed to Streatham Railway Station this evening after reports that a person was struck by a train in the Streatham Tunnel, located off Streatham High Road near Tulse Hill. A full emergency response was launched, involving  Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, London Fire Brigade, and specialist units from the London Ambulance  "HART Team" who are being supported by an Fire Rescue Unit from the London Fire Brigade.

Station Locked Down

Streatham Station has been closed to the public, and a cordon is in place while emergency crews work at the scene. Trains through the area have been suspended or severely delayed, and commuters are being urged to seek alternative travel routes.

“We were called to Streatham Railway Station at 7:08pm on Friday, 28 March, following reports that a person had been struck by a train in the tunnel area. Officers are on scene alongside colleagues from London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade. Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”

No details have been released about the identity or condition of the person involved.
