A man wanted under a European Arrest Warrant for the murder of Nashon Esbrand has appeared at court

A man wanted under a European Arrest Warrant for the murder of Nashon Esbrand has appeared at court On Monday, 9 July the National Crime Agency (NCA), working alongside the Spanish authorities, arrested 19-year-old Jack Stevens in Spain on a European Arrest Warrant (EAW) on behalf of the Metropolitan Police Service. The EAW was issued as part of the Met’s efforts to trace Stevens in relation to an investigation into the murder of Nashon Esbrand, 27, of Upper Holloway, who was stabbed in Islington on 24 August 2017. He died from his injuries in hospital on 25 August modafinil200mg.net 2017. Stevens was extradited to the UK on Thursday, August 30 and was taken to an east London police station where he was charged with murder. He appeared in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 31 August. Stevens has been remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on Monday, 3 September. An 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old man were previously found guilty of Nashon’s murder in March 2018 and a 16-year-old boy pleaded guilty to his murder. They were all jailed in June. Enquiries continue.
