Local resident Huw Jones spotted the sack on the road at the Maes Y Bont turn-off last Wednesday (11 November) at approximately 5.15pm. However, he had an “unbelievable shock” when he went to move the bag and saw signs of life inside.
Initially, Mr Jones thought the bag contained a single bat – but, on further inspection after transporting the bag to his nearby home, found a further four bats wrapped in different carrier bags inside the refuse sack.
