A violent domestic abuser sent to prison after being found guilty of six offences

Aaron Caines, 33, was found guilty at Birmingham Crown Court on February 26 for domestic violence offences of assault causing grievous bodily harm (GBH), assault causing actual bodily harm (ABH), two counts of criminal damage and harassment as well as a non-domestic violence related common assault offence.

Caines, who is already in prison on remand, was sentenced on Monday to serve five years and eight months for the six offences which relate to an assault on a woman in Worcester in 2022. Restraining orders were also given to protect his two victims.
