Following the death of a woman in Wembley, a murder investigation has been launched.
At 2.22 a.m. on Friday, July 29, emergency services were called to reports of a woman falling from a height in London Road, Wembley.
Officers were present, as were the London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance. Despite their efforts, a woman, 39, died at the scene. Her next of kin have been notified.
The death is being treated as unexpected, and investigations are being conducted by detectives from Specialist Crime. On Friday, July 29, a post-mortem examination will begin at Northwick Park Hospital mortuary.
A 50-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He is still being held at a police station in north London.
