Appeal for Dash Cam Footage Following Fail to Stop Incident in Corsham Area

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a fail to stop incident occurred in the Corsham area on October 1.

Between 1pm and 2pm, officers pursued a vehicle through Yatton Keynell, Castle Combe, Acton Turville, and Old Sodbury before it reached Junction 18 of the M4, where the Roads Policing Unit took over the chase. The vehicle was reported to be travelling at speeds exceeding 110mph on the hard shoulder before exiting at Junction 18.

Officers deployed a stinger, successfully stopping the vehicle in Hullavington. Both occupants of the vehicle were arrested at the scene. He has been released under investigation pending the results of blood tests. The passenger, a 16-year-old girl, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug and has been released on bail.

Police are now appealing to anyone with dash cam footage of the pursuit to come forward. If you can assist with the investigation, please contact Wiltshire Police on 101 and quote reference number 54240115676.
