Investigators are appealing for witnesses after an alleged assault near a public house in Leysdown-on-Sea. The incident occurred on Leysdown Road at approximately 5:35 pm on Saturday, 28 September 2024.
According to reports, a man approached a stationary white van and threatened a woman inside while also punching the vehicle. Patrol officers were called to the scene, and a 47-year-old man from Dartford was arrested in connection with the incident. He has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has information that could help with the investigation to contact them. Residents with private CCTV and motorists with dashcam footage are also urged to check for any relevant material.
