Appeal Launched After Disabled Women Assaulted on Train from Ramsgate to St Pancras

In a distressing incident, two disabled women were allegedly assaulted on a train journey from Ramsgate to London St Pancras International. The confrontation reportedly stemmed from a dispute over seating. British Transport Police have now launched an appeal and are seeking information related to the case.

The assault occurred on the 6.20pm service on Saturday, September 9. One of the victims, who uses a powered wheelchair, had parked in a designated bay and was seated in a passenger seat. The other victim, using a mobility scooter, parked in the designated area opposite the wheelchair and remained on her scooter.
