British Transport Police are appealing for witnesses after a man punched another passenger on a London Underground train travelling on the Piccadilly Line.
The incident took place between 8.20am and 8.40am on Sunday, March 31, as the train travelled towards central London. The altercation began after the victim boarded the train at Hounslow Central and asked another passenger to move some bags and a buggy that were blocking access to a seat.
The man refused the request and then punched the victim in the face before leaving the train at Knightsbridge station.
The suspect is described as Black, with dreadlocks, and was wearing a grey tracksuit at the time. He was accompanied by a woman who had a buggy and a suitcase.
British Transport Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have information to get in touch. You can contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference number 116 of March 31.
Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously via Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
Officers are reviewing CCTV footage as part of their investigation.
