Breaking News M4 closed in Berkshire following HGV collision

The M4 in Berkshire is closed westbound between J13 and J14 due to a collision involving a Heavy Goods vehicle which has breached some roadworks. There is also a large oils spillage in the carriageway. Highways England Traffic Officers and Service Providers are currently on scene. Road users are advised to follow the “Hollow Squared” diversion symbols. Exit the M4 at J13 and take the A34 (southbound). Exit the A34 at the A4 Interchange then at the roundabout turn right and proceed to the next roundabout. Continue on the A4 towards Hungerford. At the A338 roundabout turn right and follow the A338 to the M4 J14 interchange then re-join the M4 (westbound).
