British Transport Police (BTP) have released CCTV images of two men they wish to speak to in connection with a serious assault that occurred in Birmingham earlier this month.

The incident took place on Saturday, 1 June, and prompted a public appeal as part of the ongoing investigation. Officers believe the two men captured in the images may have vital information that could assist with enquiries.

Images released today show two males walking through what appears to be a station concourse. Officers have not disclosed the precise location of the incident, but confirm it occurred within the West Midlands rail network.

A BTP spokesperson said:

“We are keen to speak with the individuals pictured as they may be able to help us understand the circumstances surrounding this assault. If you recognise either man, please get in touch.
