A bus was fully engulfed in flames on the A13 eastbound, just before the Wennington Interchange (A1306), bringing traffic to a complete standstill during the Friday morning rush hour.

The incident, which occurred just before 9:15am, led to the full closure of the A13 eastbound carriageway, with long tailbacks stretching past Rainham Marshes to Ferry Lane.

The London Fire Brigade was called to the scene and quickly deployed multiple fire crews to tackle the intense blaze. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and there are no immediate reports of injuries.
