A car fire on the M20 early Sunday morning prompted a swift response from the Kent Fire and Rescue Service. The incident occurred on September 1, 2024, between Junctions 10 iand 11 on the coastbound side of the motorway near Ashford.

Two fire engines were dispatched to the scene, where firefighters, equipped with breathing apparatus for protection, used high-pressure hose reel jets to bring the blaze under control.
