A car fire on the M20 early Sunday morning prompted a swift response from the Kent Fire and Rescue Service. The incident occurred on September 1, 2024, between Junctions 10 iand 11 on the coastbound side of the motorway near Ashford.
[block_2]At approximately 6:10 AM, emergency services were alerted to the vehicle fire. Two fire engines were dispatched to the scene, where firefighters, equipped with breathing apparatus for protection, used high-pressure hose reel jets to bring the blaze under control. The flames were successfully extinguished by 6:33 AM.
