North Devon Police are appealing for public assistance following a burglary at Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, which took place overnight between Thursday, September 5, and Friday, September 6, 2024.
Intruders forced their way into a building on the park premises, specifically targeting the offices. A significant amount of cash was stolen, including both proceeds from the park and charitable donations. Additionally, a red Milwaukee impact driver was stolen during the break-in.
Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity or vehicles on the A399 outside the park during the night of the burglary. They are also requesting local residents and businesses with CCTV systems in the area to review footage for any passing vehicles that may have been involved.
The area of interest includes the section of the A399 from Combe Martin to Easter Close Cross, where the road intersects with the A3123 and B3229.
Anyone with information that could assist in the investigation is asked to contact North Devon Police by calling 101 or visiting their website, quoting crime reference number 50240225848.
Authorities hope that public vigilance and cooperation will help recover the stolen money and identify those responsible for this crime.
