Northolt Road in South Harrow has been blocked in both directions at the junction with uk/topic/parkfield/">Parkfield Road following a road traffic collision, causing widespread traffic disruption and affecting multiple Transport for London (TfL) bus routes.
The incident was reported just before midday at 11:59am, with emergency services attending the scene. The road closure has prompted immediate bus diversions and the introduction of rail replacement service PL4, which was added to the diversion plan at 12:43pm.
This diversion affects travel in both directions on Northolt Road.
TfL has confirmed that Route 398 has been diverted from Eastcote Lane, turning right onto Northolt Road and then continuing left or right as needed.
