Firefighters from four Essex stations were called out last night after a combine harvester caught fire near Holders Green Road, Thaxted—an incident that officials believe was accidental and likely caused by machinery overheating.
Crews from Thaxted, Wethersfield, Dunmow, and Newport attended the blaze, which broke out in a field during ongoing harvesting work.
