Left Tunnel Closed, M25 Delays Back to J2
The left-hand tunnel at the Dartford Crossing was shut down this morning following a vehicle fire on the M25 anticlockwise. The blaze caused immediate closure and heavy congestion stretching back to Junction 2, A2 Darenth.
Right Tunnel Open but Traffic Gridlocked
All traffic has been diverted through the right-hand tunnel, but queues remain long. Drivers face delays stretching all the way back to Junction 3 at Swanley Interchange as emergency services clear the scene.
