There are issues on the Dartford Crossing this morning following a Police incident bear to junction 1a
Officers from Kent Police have been called to the scene of the ongoing incident that is causing major delays in the area.
It’s understood that officers have been called to a concern for the welfare of a man who is having a mental health crisis
A male is understood to have gained access to the bridge gantry. Officers are engaging with the man and its hoped that the incident will come to a swift conclusion very shortly.
There are reported delays of approx 30 minutes in both directions at present.
The event is expected to clear between 09:00 and 09:15 on 22 March 2023
