Gaza’s interior ministry has confirmed the utter destruction of the camp, leaving hundreds of its residents displaced and in mourning.

According to spokesperson Iyad al-Bazum, who addressed reporters outside a hospital in Khan Younis, the gravity of the situation is difficult to overstate. Al-Bazum reported that approximately 400 individuals have tragically lost their lives or sustained injuries as a result of the attack.
