In a distressing case, Police Constable Ravi Canhye, a serving Dorset Police officer, has been found guilty of sexual offences, including two counts of rape, following an eight-day trial at Winchester Crown Court.
The jury delivered its verdict on Wednesday, 4 October 2023, convicting Canhye of a total of eight sexual offences. These include two counts of rape, one attempted rape, three assaults by penetration against one woman, and one assault by touching against a second woman. Both victims were known to the police officer.
