Double Christmas Day Murder: Two Women and Family Dog Fatally Stabbed in Bletchley

Police have launched a double murder investigation after a horrifying knife attack on Christmas Day claimed the lives of two women and a family dog in Bletchley, near Milton Keynes.

Victims Identified

One of the victims has been identified as 24-year-old Teohna Grant, a railway worker who lived in the flat where the attack occurred. A 38-year-old woman, whose identity has not yet been released, also died in the incident.

Two others—a 17-year-old boy and a man in his 20s—sustained serious injuries and remain hospitalized.

A family dog, described as a white pit bull, was also fatally injured. Neighbors reported seeing the animal limping and covered in blood before it succumbed to its injuries after being taken to a vet.

The Attack

The violent incident unfolded just after 6:30 PM on Christmas Day at a block of flats. Neighbors raised the alarm after hearing screams and witnessing one of the victims shouting for help from a balcony, saying she couldn’t breathe.

A witness told MailOnline, “I heard screaming and saw a boy outside covered in blood, saying, ‘I’ve been stabbed.’ He had wounds to his chest and head. Another woman was on the balcony, screaming for help. The attacker ran out, got into his car, and drove off, but police arrived within seconds and caught him.”

A 49-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. Police confirmed the suspect and victims were known to each other and are not seeking any other suspects.

Community Reaction

The attack has left the local community in shock. Residents have begun leaving flowers and tributes near the scene, expressing grief and disbelief over the tragedy.

Local councillor Shazna Muzammil commented: “This is horrible on Christmas Day, and we are deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic events in Bletchley. Our thoughts are with the families, friends, and neighbors of the two women who have tragically lost their lives.”

Police Investigation

Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Brangwin, leading the investigation, reassured the public:
“We have launched a double murder investigation, which may be concerning to the wider public; however, we have made an arrest and are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.”

A significant police presence remains in the area as forensic teams examine the scene.
