Emergency services called to Car on it Roof in the West Wight

Emergency services have been called to a vehicle on its roof this evening in the West Wight. It is understood that the vehicle has been involved in a collision and flipped on to its roof just before 7pm on Sunday near to the Welcome to Chale Sign. A single Fire Crew from Newport made the scene and the vehicle safe. An officer from Hampshire Constabulary Island Roads Policing attended. Police contracts Stag Lane have been left to carry out a cleanup and recovery of the written off vehicle.
