Emergency services rushed to the junction of Arundel Road and Cissbury Avenue in Peacehaven in the early hours of this morning (Sunday) after a van ploughed through metal railings, mounted a wall, and crashed into an elderly care home.

The incident happened at around 2am, prompting a large emergency response. Crews from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS), South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb), and Sussex Police" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked" data-wpil-monitor-id="129680">Sussex Police all attended the scene.
Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.
