A person has tragically died following a collision involving a fuel tanker on the M25 near Orpington in Kent. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 AM on Wednesday between junctions 3 and 4.
Emergency services, including specialist paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex Air Ambulance, rushed to the scene. Despite their best efforts, the person was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers from the Specialist Collision Investigation Unit have taken charge of the investigation, which has led to significant road closures as police work to determine the circumstances of the incident.
