Fire crews rush to tackle blaze on the A2 near Bexleyheath
Lane closures have been put in place on the A2 near Bexleyheath following the outbreak of a fire. Two lanes have been closed as a result of the incident that is on the eastbound carriage near to the Falconwood Interchange. Drivers in the area have reported that traffic is very slow on the approach to the incident. The incident is understood to involved a residential fire. Four fire appliances have been called to the incident that started just 10.58pm. More to follow
