Woman Dies in Bromley Flat Fire

A fire that broke out in a derelict building in Belvedere is currently under investigation. The London Fire Brigade was alerted to the blaze at 6:34 pm on Friday, June 7. Four fire engines and approximately 25 firefighters were dispatched to the scene on Albert Road.

The fire, which significantly damaged most of the single-storey building, was brought under control by 7:21 pm. Fortunately, there were no reports of any injuries.

Fire crews from Erith, Bexley, and Plumstead fire stations attended the incident. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and is under investigation.

A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said, “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a derelict building on Albert Road in Belvedere. Most of the one-storey building was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries. The Brigade was called at 6:34 pm, and the incident was over for firefighters at 7:21 pm. Crews from Erith, Bexley, and Plumstead fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
