Flybe flight makes emergency landing after declaring an emergency onboard

A Flybe flight has successfully landed at Bournemouth airport after declaring an emergency and requesting support from the emergency services Flybe BEE695E (G-FBEG) declared an emergency over Southampton airspace just before lunchtime on Sunday. The 11 year old Embraer ERJ-195LR requested to land immediately. Air traffic controllers dirverted the plane that had taken off from Chambery ordered it land at Bournemouth. The airports fire service along with appliances from Wiltshire and Dorset fire and rescue were also scambled to incident.
