Fog likely to cause some difficult driving conditions to today as a yellow weather warning has been issued

Yellow weather warnings have been put in place across parts of the South East and London overnight are covered with heavy fog blankets. The severe fog warnings were issued across eastern, southeastern and southwestern parts of the country overnight. The Met Office has advised motorists to be extra careful across much of the east amid thick fog and mist. Warnings, which were put in place from 3am, will run until 10am and could cause major traffic delays.
