Man Stabbed on High Street in Late-Night Attack

Victim Rushed to Hospital

Police were called to a High Street property at around 11pm on Saturday, 23rd July, following reports of a stabbing behind the premises. The victim, a man in his twenties, was taken to St Mary’s Hospital with superficial stab wounds to his stomach and leg.

29-Year-Old Arrested Over Violent Assault

Hampshire Constabulary confirmed a 29-year-old man from Sandown was arrested this Wednesday at Newport Police Station. He faces charges of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. The suspect remains in custody as investigations continue.
