The family of 83-year-old David Dawson have expressed their tribute to him after his tragic death in a road traffic collision on the A272 at Cowfold on March 28. They said David will be “sadly missed and fondly remembered” and described him as an avid golfer at Worthing Gold Club, a volunteer at the Littlehampton RNLI Lifeboat Station, and a lifelong supporter of Sheffield United Football Club. David was a much-loved father to his two sons, grandfather of four, and a brother. We are investigating the collision and officers have asked witnesses or anyone with information to come forward by emailing [email protected] and quote Operation Banwell.
