Hindhead Tunnel closed in both directions following a collision

A3 Northbound and Southbound is currently held by police at both ends of the end of Hindhead Tunnel due to a serious road traffic collision. Officers from both Surrey and Hampshire have been called to the incident. Other emergency services have also been mobilised to attend Paramedics from the ambulance service and an ambulance officer have also been sent to the scene. Highways England have just updated to say:Traffic has just been released in both directions and from CCTV it is flowing freely. More to follow
