A massive fire has ripped through a vacant retail store on Kirkcaldy High Street, prompting a large-scale emergency response.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) confirmed that they were alerted to the blaze around 8:23 pm on Sunday, March 30. Six fire appliances, multiple police vehicles, and an ambulance crew were quickly dispatched to the scene.
Images from the scene show police cordoning off nearby roads while emergency personnel work to secure the area. The heavy presence of smoke has significantly reduced visibility, and local authorities have advised residents to stay indoors if possible.
